Refund Policy
1. Standard Refund Schedule
Refunds are processed based on the cancellation date relative to the event date. All reference times are based on Korea Standard Time (KST) at midnight 00:00.

30+ days before the event (before August 1, 2026, 23:59 KST): 100% refund
14+ days before the event (before August 17, 2026, 23:59 KST): 50% refund
Within 14 days of the event (from August 18, 2026, 00:00 KST): No refund
2. Special Conditions
Same-day cancellation: Full refund is available if cancelled before midnight (00:00 KST) on the day of purchase. This does not apply to purchases made within 14 days of the event.
Refunds are subject to payment processing fees as follows:
PayPal payments: A 4.4% processing fee will be deducted from the refund amount, per PayPal's policy.
International card payments: Foreign exchange fees imposed by card issuers may be deducted from the refund amount.
Bitcoin and Lightning Network payments: Refunds are calculated based on the KRW equivalent at the time of payment. OriginX is not responsible for losses due to Bitcoin price fluctuations. Refunds may be issued in either fiat currency (original payment method) or Bitcoin, at the user's choice.
Korean card payments: Refunds are processed through the original payment method with no additional fees.
3. Event Cancellation or Postponement
If the event is cancelled due to reasons attributable to OriginX: Full refund (100%, including any processing fees)
If the event is cancelled due to force majeure (natural disasters, epidemics, government regulations, etc.): Full refund (100%) OR transfer to the next edition of the event (at the user's choice)
If the event is postponed: Tickets will be automatically transferred to the rescheduled date. If the user cannot attend on the new date, a 100% refund will be issued.
4. Refund Process
How to request a refund: Send an email to refund@originseoulbtc.com with the following information:
Order number
Name and email of the payer
Reason for refund
Bank account details for refund (including SWIFT code for international transfers)
Processing time: 3–5 business days
Refund method: Refunds are issued through the original payment method (credit card → card reversal, bank transfer → account refund, PayPal → PayPal refund, Bitcoin → user's choice).
Delayed refunds: If a refund is delayed, OriginX will pay interest on the delayed amount at the rate specified in Article 21(2) of the Enforcement Decree of the Consumer Protection Act of Korea.
5. Non-Refundable Cases
Refunds may be restricted in the following cases:
Cancellation requested within 14 days of the event (Section 1 applies)
Tickets that have already been transferred or resold
Refund requested after attending the event
Entry denied due to violation of the Visitors Code of Conduct

7. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
This Refund Policy is governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. Any disputes arising from this policy shall be resolved in the district court having jurisdiction over the user's address. If the user's address or residence is unclear, the court shall be determined in accordance with the Civil Procedure Act of the Republic of Korea.
